Mon Oncle (My Uncle) is a 1958 Italian-French film by director Jacques Tati and tells the story of young Gérard Arpel, who lives with his parents in an ultra-modern house, but prefers the company of his uncle Hulot, who takes him for walks in the old town. Meanwhile, Gérard's parents are trying to adapt Mr. Hulot to modern life. The film is a satire on mechanization and technological modernity
